Birth of Electric Music

Ever been to the birth of something? The first time you seen or heard of something you thought was unique? Well, it all started with a thing called MTV, I was there when the channel first went up. It was a cable product and many of the home on Long Island coverted their set for the next wave of TV. And I also got the first Wave of Electronic Music. "Video Killed the Radio Star" by the Boogles. That was the birth of Electronic Music to my ears and I couldn't get enough.

Wave From Across the Water Part 1

As a young man, my first taste in the nightclub scene a new music was emerging. Like a wave bouncing along our shore it brought electronic music with a good dance beat and we liked it.
From Depeche Mode To Yazoo we absorbed it all and danced our nights away to it. There is so many facets of this genre, but I present to you my favorite remixes of the 80s UK New Wave Experience with a modern twist.

Get out of the taxi and up to the 16 foot black leather door. Lockers to your left for members, non-member must have a members guest code to be let into the club. Members are only allowed 4 guests at a time.


Welcome you've made it to "The Saint". NYC's most exclusive gay dance club that pushed the envelope to the extreme from the early 80's to it's now club circuit.


I was 18 1983 and it was my first time at the Saint and I was hooked. No other place have the energy, power, and some of the most beautiful people in Manhattan. Many clubs have tried to duplicate the Saint, but it never could achieve to it greatness.


This mix is some music that was heard on the dance floor of the Saint on New Year's Eve 1983.
Quick, they just finished putting powder on the floor so you can glide and dance your woes away.

The dance floor was under a dome with a star projector in the center. The entire dome pulsed to the beat of the music with spectrum of color that can change the entire mood of the in one push of the button.
